Another important waterfall, in addition to the more famous Morricana, is that of Cavata. It is one of the many beautiful waterfalls that the homonymous ditch offers to hikers.

The Cavata waterfall is formed by the melt waters of the large amphitheater east of Pizzo di Moscio which, flowing over the waterproof sandstone rocks (it is important to remember that the chain of the Monti della Laga is the highest arenaceous relief in the Apennines) offers a unique spectacle before arriving at the town of Padula.

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”1_2″ _builder_version=”4.9.1″ _module_preset=”default”][et_pb_image src=”https://www.visitceppo.it/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/cascata-cavata.jpg” alt=”cascata cavata” title_text=”cascata cavata” _builder_version=”4.9.4″ _module_preset=”default”][/et_pb_image][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section][et_pb_section fb_built=”1″ module_class=”blog-pagine-interne” _builder_version=”4.9.3″ _module_preset=”default” background_image=”https://www.visitceppo.it/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/cartoon-bg-2.jpg” global_module=”288″ saved_tabs=”all”][et_pb_row module_class=”blog-box-pagina” _builder_version=”4.9.3″ _module_preset=”default”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.9.3″ _module_preset=”default”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.9.3″ _module_preset=”default” text_orientation=”center”]

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_blog fullwidth=”off” posts_number=”3″ include_categories=”all” excerpt_length=”120″ show_more=”on” show_author=”off” show_date=”off” show_categories=”off” show_pagination=”off” _builder_version=”4.9.3″ _module_preset=”default” custom_padding=”||||false|false”][/et_pb_blog][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row module_class=”forest-bg-footer page-pre-footer” _builder_version=”4.9.3″ _module_preset=”default” background_image=”https://www.visitceppo.it/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/forest-bg-footer.png” positioning=”absolute” position_origin_a=”bottom_center” width=”100%” max_width=”none”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.9.1″ _module_preset=”default”][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section]

[et_pb_section fb_built=”1″ module_class=”page-header” _builder_version=”4.9.4″ _module_preset=”default” background_image=”https://www.visitceppo.it/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/cavata-header.jpg” custom_padding=”0px||0px||false|false” hover_enabled=”0″ title_text=”headers” sticky_enabled=”0″][et_pb_row module_class=”forest-white” _builder_version=”4.9.1″ _module_preset=”default” background_image=”https://www.visitceppo.it/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/forest-white.png” positioning=”absolute” position_origin_a=”bottom_center” width=”100%” max_width=”none”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.9.1″ _module_preset=”default”][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section][et_pb_section fb_built=”1″ module_class=”page-section” _builder_version=”4.9.4″ _module_preset=”default” background_image=”https://www.visitceppo.it/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/forest-bg.jpg” background_position=”bottom_center”][et_pb_row module_class=”page-title” _builder_version=”4.9.1″ _module_preset=”default”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.9.1″ _module_preset=”default”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.9.4″ _module_preset=”default” text_orientation=”center”] The Cavata waterfall [/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row column_structure=”1_2,1_2″ use_custom_gutter=”on” gutter_width=”2″ module_class=”flip” _builder_version=”4.9.4″ _module_preset=”default”][et_pb_column type=”1_2″ _builder_version=”4.9.1″ _module_preset=”default”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.9.4″ _module_preset=”default”] Another important waterfall, in […]

Blog of the Wood
