From the Ceppo it is possible to reach the beautiful valley of Val Vibrata in just over an hour, characterized by rivers and green hills, villages and towns perched on rocky spurs. As a first stop we stop at Sant’Egidio alla Vibrata, known for its notoriety in the field of the textile and fashion industry worldwide. From here we move to Ancarano, an ancient fortified village, in which we find, in addition to beautiful architectural testimonies, such as the ancient Church of the Madonna Tonna and the ancient fortified walls, an ancient source dating back to Roman era, a meeting place for travelers seeking refreshment and refreshment.

Not far from Ankaran, for lovers of taste and flavors, we find Torano Nuovo , known for being the “capital” of local wines. On summer days, together with typical local products such as meats and cheeses, you can taste the lovely wines such as the red Montepulciano, the white Trebbiano and the Cerasuolo. Just 10 minutes by car there is another very interesting village, especially from a historical-cultural point of view: Corropoli. Here we find an Acropolis built on the ancient remains of a pagan temple dedicated to the Goddess Flora and the prehistoric village of Ripoli dating back more or less 5000 years ago.

Crossing picturesque streets, full of vineyards and colorful vegetation, we reach the last stop of our itinerary, the beautiful town of Colonnella, a perched village from which it is possible to admire the sea and the mountains, rich in landscapes breathtaking and ancient monuments. Characteristic of this village is the staircase that allows access to the historic center, the hub of city life, and the Town Hall, outside which we can admire a bronze iconography by Giordano Bruno.
