From Ceppo to San Martino
This beautiful hike, about 10.5 km long and almost all downhill, leaves Abruzzo for the Marche crossing a ridge with breathtaking views.
Starting from the Ceppo, follow the watershed towards the north and passing from Monte Ceraso and after about 45 minutes from the start you reach Monte la Morra.
From here you leave the main ridge by drawing a wide “S” and descending along the north / west facing slope until you reach the inhabited center of Morrice.
Here you go down for a short distance crossing the Castellano torrent which marks the border between Marche and Abruzzo and continue up to San Martino.
