Discovering the Castellana Valley
This comfortable and downhill hike does not follow a path but a dirt road used by tractors. It crosses a little known but very characteristic and interesting area. The crossing starts from Ceppo and ends in Valle Castellana passing through a wonderful forest of fir, beech, chestnut and meadows.
Along the way you can meet several branches that descend to the villages below: Morrice, Ceraso and Fornisco.
From the latter, through a path, along the stream and passing near two water mills, no longer functioning but still very beautiful and interesting to see, you can reach the bridge over the Torrente Tevera.
For an excursion in complete safety it is recommended to use suitable equipment and tools and always have the utmost attention.
